CMM Staff

Dr. Tom Wood

Founder & President
Dr. Tom Wood  was founding director of the North GA Church Planting Network (renamed Metro Atlanta Collective). Prior to starting CMM, he served as Director of Church Planting for a church-planting network (PMI) in Atlanta. He has planted and pastored two churches. He earned is Doctorate from RTS (Orlando) and is author of Gospelling Life Together, The Church Planter Field Manual 4 book series, and co-author of Gospel Coach.
Tom has been married to his wife, Rachel,  for 40 years. They have 3 daughters, two son-in-laws, and four grandkids. 

Rev. Jim Moon, Jr.

Vice President
Jim, Elizabeth, their grown children and families live in metro Atlanta and the Dominican Republic. With more than 30 years of leadership experience as a pastor and church planter, Jim coaches, trains and consults in the US and internationally. He enjoys reading, movies, music and the outdoors. 

Mrs. Amy Stevens

Services Director
Amy manages CMM billing/invoicing department and is an administrator for the Church Leader Inventory.

Amy and her husband are stationed in Virginia with the navy. They have 2 daughters. She enjoys photography, art, and home renovations. .

Mrs. Julie Carter

Outreach Services Catalyst
Julie manages and provides support for CMM's website and communications.

Julie and her husband live in Atlanta with their 2 children.

Rev. Dudley Hodges

Coaching Catalyst
Dudley Hodges is the founding pastor of Boynton Beach Community Church and a graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary.

He is married to Christine and together they have three adult children and seven grandchildren. He enjoys coaching, archery and music.

Rev. Omar Ortiz

Coaching Catalyst
Omar is the Leadership Development Director with Christ the King Presbyterian Church in Boston. In that role he is working to help identify and develop leaders for future church planting efforts. Omar has been a Qualified Administrator for the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) since November 2017.
Omar is married to Kate and together they have four children.

Rev. Brad Schmidt

Coaching Catalyst
Brad is a church planter and pastor at City Church. He resides in Fort Lauderdale, FL with his wife, Laine, and two boys - Max and Luke.

A graduate of Knox Theological Seminary, Brad enjoys coaching other pastors as well as coaching his son¹s baseball team in his spare time. 

Mrs. Robin Vaughn

Women Coaching Catalyst
Robin, Travis, and their three children live in Metro Atlanta. Robin’s key ministry areas are assessment and coaching women.

Robin enjoys hiking, kayaking, and being outdoors with friends..

Rev. Travis Vaughn

Coaching Catalyst
Travis Vaughn is the Executive Director for Metro Atlanta Collective. Travis enjoys coaching, building/serving networks, and organizational design.

He and his family live near Atlanta. He has served as a CMM coach for several years and has coached pastors and leaders across the country.

Rev. David Whitehead

Coaching Catalyst
David is the Urban Coach Trainer for Redeemer City to City, and a part of their leader development team.

He and his wife live in Manhattan, NY with their 2 daughters. David loves cycling, reading, and helping leaders.
